Wine list subject to change without notice. Please
contact Thee Bungalow for current wine list.

I hope you
enjoy this wine list as much as I enjoyed putting it together. I have tasted
just about every wine on this list. It was a dirty job, but I suffered through
it. Work, work, and work!
I wish I
could tell you there was some master plan to this creation, but alas,
there isn't. If I find a wine I like, I buy it. Over the past 18 years
I have tasted close to 100,000 wines. My personal preference is red wine.
You will notice that this list is 3/4 red.
The
following is a few suggestions on how to proceed with a wine list this
size.
-
Don't be intimidated by the list. Anyone on my staff will be happy to
help you choose a wine.
- If you
are not certain, ask! If we don't know we will tell you so. We are here
to help; there are no stupid questions.
- If you
are looking for a suggestion, give us some idea of what wines you enjoy
at home. This helps us gauge your taste. What is sweet to me might be
dry to you.
- Red wine
with meat and white wine with fish makes no sense, unless you like it
that way. If you enjoy white wine with your pepper steak, then it's
correct. In other words, don't let wine snobbism affect what you like!
- Don't
be afraid to specify a price range. We offer wines at all price levels.
- The corkage
fee is $15.00 per 750-ml bottle with a maximum of 2 bottles per table.
We have the most reasonable wine markups of any restaurant in town.
- If it's
on our list then put it back in your car. It is not our policy to encourage
or discourage the bringing in of outside wine, however in many instances
the addition of our corkage fee to your bottle of wine is more expensive
than if you had purchased the wine off of our wine list.
If
you order an older wine on our list be aware of several factors.
- The wine
is old. It doesn't taste like it did 15 years ago.
- All older
wines have been properly cellared since being released from the winery.
- If you
are not certain you like the flavor of an older wine, don't order it.
"I don't like it" or "This is not what I remember drinking 10 years
ago" is not a viable reason to return the wine. They're many characteristics
to older wines that are unique and distinctive. Everyone's palate is
different, older wines develop a very complex flavor profile that is
not enjoyed by all. We want you to be happy with your selection.
- There
are no returns on these wines once opened. No exceptions.
